At the end of every motorhome trip, without fail, I have a list of things I’d like to upgrade, change or improve. Or something I’ve spotted in someone else’s motorhome that I’d quite like for mine. This trip is no different. For the past few weeks, I’ve been touring France in my in-laws’ motorhome after mine broke in spectacular fashion. The indicators just stopped working as I was leaving to go meet our first group trip for the month. Not what I needed! And whilst there are differences in size and storage, there are some bits of kit (and clever ideas) in their motorhome that I’m definitely going to adopt. There are also my absolute hero products: the things I grabbed during that crazy 20-minute changeover between the two vans. The things I literally don’t want to travel without. (And the things I forgot and regretted not bringing, like my Kärcher, dry robe, tyre pump and reclining chairs! 🙈) I’ll share what made the 20-minute cut tomorrow. But first…Is there something you’ve been meaning to buy for your motorhome, but you’ve been waiting for a decent price? Perhaps a power bank, a cordless vacuum to tackle the never-ending sand (thanks, Mac 😂), or something to make motorhoming a little easier? Well, now’s the time! Amazon’s Big Deal Days start tomorrow and are on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th October. Thousands of products will be on sale - home, garden, pets, personal OR for Christmas gift buying! I’ll be looking through the offers for useful motorhoming gear and sharing the deals I think are worth a look. Only caveat: You need Amazon Prime to access the deals. The good news is that, if you’re not already a member, you can get a 30-day free trial, which covers the sale and gives you access to all the deals. 👉 Check your eligibility for a FREE Amazon Prime trial (TOP TIP: Already used your free trial? Sign up on a different email... 😉) Getting the most from the saleThis sale is only two days, and most deals are only on for a few hours. Before the sale starts tomorrow, I recommend making a list of anything you actually need, and check what it costs right now. That way, you’ll know whether an offer is a genuine saving. Even better, you can add everything you might want to get to your basket now, and see if the price drops tomorrow. That way, you'll be ready to grab a bargain. You can see my latest finds and early-bird deals here I'm going to be sharing a few of my favourite Amazon Prime Day deals and purchases over the next couple of days, mainly on social media. I'm not sending more than one email a day, but if you don't want to hear any more about the Amazon Prime sale, just click here and I won't share the deals with you. If there's anything specific you'd like me to look out for, let me know and I'll do my best to find it for you!
P.S: Skipped to the end? Amazon Prime deals start TOMORROW (Tuesday 6th) and to take advantage of all the savings & deals you must be a member. Join up here FOR FREE (yep, totally free- no strings attached). P.P.S: Spoiler- some deals have already started! See the Early bird deals here |

The biggest issue with travelling solo is there is NO ONE to blame but yourself when you do something stupid. It's very inconvenient! Sadly, no matter how experienced a motorhomer you might be, you still occassionally do something downright silly. Generally when an entire campsite of people are staring at you in disbelief. 🫣 A while ago, I arrived at a campsite and (for reasons which aren't clear to anyone, including me) I decided to drive my motorhome onto a grass field... just after a heavy...
If you're new to visiting motorhome/caravan shows, the October NEC show can feel incredibly overwhelming. It's HUGE! If you've only ever been to the February one, the October show is even larger. If you are visiting the NEC show this week, here are some quick tips: Get there as early as you can. It starts to get really busy around 11.30am until about 4pm. Wear comfortable shoes & do not underestimate how far you're going to walk. Some women do the show in heels... I am not one of them! Bring...
Well, it's been a bit of a month on the motorhome front! If you've been following my adventures recently, you'll know that my motorhome decided to throw a rather spectacular spanner in the works a few weeks ago. And, of course, it chose just about the WORST possible moment to do it. 🙄 I was on my way to meet a group of Wandering Motorhome Club members, to start our trip into Europe. I'd used it a few days before and it passed it's MOT the week earlier. And then, on the day the trip started,...
