I'm excited to say that Ask Kat AI is now live!! But, before we dive into that, if you’ve been thinking about joining me in Antarctica and South Georgia 2028, it's time to act. The incredible early bird group discount I secured ENDS NEXT WEEK 😱 That means: But the good news? Antarctica is, without doubt, the most incredible place I've ever had the privilege of visiting. And South Georgia is just as incredible; famous for the King Penguins who gather there in their thousands- especially at the time of year we're going. I cannot wait to experience it. ✅ Prime wildlife season - especially in South Georgia when we can watch penguins building nests and courting If not now, when? 🔸 Limited spots left! Solo travellers, couples, friends — all welcome 💛 This really is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure — and I’d love you to be part of it. You only need to place a deposit before 31st October to lock in the savings: Don't let the deadline pass you by and end up paying thousands more for the exact same trip. Still have questions or hesitations? Just hit reply — I’m here to help and happy to talk things through. KAT(AI) IS LIVE!! 🎉You know those moments when you’re planning a trip and think, “I wish I could just ask Kat…”? But Kat is travelling around Europe with limited internet and isn't able to answer instantly?! 🫣 Well… now there's a way. Even if I’m driving, walking Mac or asleep! I’ve created an AI version of me, which is loaded with as much motorhoming, van life, road trip and ME knowledge as I can squish into it. Introducing Kat(ai) This isn't a random AI. I've literally spent weeks training it to be a version of my brain.
The idea is to make it easier for you to get help when you need it, without having to hunt through posts or remember which video covered the thing you’re stuck on. What could you ask? Try something like:
Give it a bit of background about you and your trip. You can ask follow-up questions too, just as you would in a conversation. Please note: You do have to be specific with it. And you may need to rephrase a question if it doesn't get it right first time. It's still a baby- be patient with it. The more usage it gets, the more nuance it will be able to pick up. How to find it You can find it directly here I’m opening KatAI up FREE for the next two weeks, so you can have a play and see how it could help with your adventures. After that, access will be exclusively for Wandering Motorhome Club members. I’m excited to hear what you think. Have a play, ask it something you’ve been wondering about, and hit reply to this email to let me know how you get on. Also, if it says something crazy, wrong, or something that sounds absolutely nothing like me… I definitely want to hear about that! Happy questioning,
P.S. Don't forget the deadline for the Antarctica early bird deal is NEXT WEEK. This trip isn't something I run regularly, and the discounts won’t be repeated. Once my allocated spots are filled and the discounts are gone, they’re gone. |

Well, that's the end of another fantastic NEC show. 8 talks on stage over 6 days, lots of books signed, thousands of steps each day, and a few too many Subway cookies As always, while the show is packed with incredible vehicles and accessories, it’s the people that make it fun. Thank you to everyone who came to watch one of my talks, bought a book or just stopped me in the halls to say they watch/read my content and how helpful it’s been. I really appreciate all of you 🧡 I did record my talk...
The biggest issue with travelling solo is there is NO ONE to blame but yourself when you do something stupid. It's very inconvenient! Sadly, no matter how experienced a motorhomer you might be, you still occassionally do something downright silly. Generally when an entire campsite of people are staring at you in disbelief. 🫣 A while ago, I arrived at a campsite and (for reasons which aren't clear to anyone, including me) I decided to drive my motorhome onto a grass field... just after a heavy...
If you're new to visiting motorhome/caravan shows, the October NEC show can feel incredibly overwhelming. It's HUGE! If you've only ever been to the February one, the October show is even larger. If you are visiting the NEC show this week, here are some quick tips: Get there as early as you can. It starts to get really busy around 11.30am until about 4pm. Wear comfortable shoes & do not underestimate how far you're going to walk. Some women do the show in heels... I am not one of them! Bring...
