🔥 18 epic events to enjoy this November

Well, that's the end of another fantastic NEC show.

8 talks on stage over 6 days, lots of books signed, thousands of steps each day, and a few too many Subway cookies

As always, while the show is packed with incredible vehicles and accessories, it’s the people that make it fun. Thank you to everyone who came to watch one of my talks, bought a book or just stopped me in the halls to say they watch/read my content and how helpful it’s been. I really appreciate all of you 🧡

I did record my talk for those who weren’t able to attend- I’ll edit it and pop it on YouTube soon.

I also filmed MANY motorhomes in the search for my next vehicle- those videos will be coming soon. Thankfully, my motorhome is now fixed (after a year of searching, they finally found a small section of the wiring loom which had rusted and has now been replaced), so thankfully the pressure is off for a while- which is good as I'm having several surgeries over the next few weeks.

Still, the world keeps turning and somehow, November is less than two weeks away!!

Here are some dates and events to note in November:

The biggest issue with travelling solo is there is NO ONE to blame but yourself when you do something stupid. It's very inconvenient! Sadly, no matter how experienced a motorhomer you might be, you still occassionally do something downright silly. Generally when an entire campsite of people are staring at you in disbelief. 🫣 A while ago, I arrived at a campsite and (for reasons which aren't clear to anyone, including me) I decided to drive my motorhome onto a grass field... just after a heavy...

If you're new to visiting motorhome/caravan shows, the October NEC show can feel incredibly overwhelming. It's HUGE! If you've only ever been to the February one, the October show is even larger. If you are visiting the NEC show this week, here are some quick tips: Get there as early as you can. It starts to get really busy around 11.30am until about 4pm. Wear comfortable shoes & do not underestimate how far you're going to walk. Some women do the show in heels... I am not one of them! Bring...

Well, it's been a bit of a month on the motorhome front! If you've been following my adventures recently, you'll know that my motorhome decided to throw a rather spectacular spanner in the works a few weeks ago. And, of course, it chose just about the WORST possible moment to do it. 🙄 I was on my way to meet a group of Wandering Motorhome Club members, to start our trip into Europe. I'd used it a few days before and it passed it's MOT the week earlier. And then, on the day the trip started,...
