One of the things I enjoy about having a 'motorhoming community' is being able to answer your questions. Having said that, I get hundreds of emails a week- and it's impossible to answer them all personally. It's the main reason the Wandering Motorhome Club started; so that people had a place to visit to get help and advice when they need it. I'm still in Greenland at the moment, but I managed to grab a few minutes before I left to answer some emails I've received recently from people on my email list (like you!) It's a great range of topics, including sim cards, SOG units, sat nav settings and several other topics. I hope you find it helpful.
Have a question you'd like me to answer? Either reply to this email and I'll add your question to my list when I do the next Q&A video, or join the Wandering Motorhome Club and I'll answer it asap for you! I hope you're having a lovely August,

UK's #1 Motorhome Travel Blog. In 2018, I quit my job as an air traffic controller to tour the UK and Europe by motorhome. I share weekly tips, itinerary ideas and mistakes to avoid- all to help motorhome and campervan owners make the most of their time on the road. See you out there! More resources available at Wandering-Bird.com and you can follow the adventures on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok @wanderingbird.adventures

This form is incredibly clever, because it helps resolve the language issues in Europe. If someone from France runs into someone from Germany in Spain, the form format is exactly the same. Each person then completes the form in their own language, and it all fits...
Well, August has been a bit of a month! It started with a quick weekend to Spain to visit family and relax by the poolβ¦ and ended up with a solar eclipse and standing on the second largest ice sheet in the world! π A little August recap I headed out to Iceland hoping to see the total solar eclipse β and, as you may know, the Icelandic weather did its absolute best to ruin those plans! I didnβt get the perfect view of the sun disappearing that Iβd hoped for, but watching the entire world...
If you're taking your motorhome or campervan to Europe, there are three things which seem to cause a ridiculous amount of confusion: Tolls. Vignettes. And low-emission stickers. People mix them up all the time, and to be fair, Europe really doesn't make this easy because different countries have different systems β and sometimes they even use the same WORD for completely different things. So in this week's video, I'm going to explain the difference between them, which countries you're likely...
